Wonder Room Press is a small, independent press devoted to books that feel warm, curious, and full of heart. Each title is carefully chosen to grow with readers.

Submissions welcome

We are always excited to discover new voices that align with our vision. If you have a children's manuscript or project that sparks curiosity and imagination, we would love to hear from you.

What we are looking for

  • Picture books, early readers, and middle-grade stories.
  • Stories that celebrate imagination, learning, kindness, or playful discovery.
  • Original, complete manuscripts in English.

How to submit

  1. Cover letter: A brief note introducing yourself and your manuscript.
  2. Manuscript: Picture books should include full text in one document. Early readers and middle grade submissions should include the full manuscript in Word or PDF.
  3. Optional illustrations: Illustrators may include up to five sample images.

Submission guidelines

  • File format: PDF or Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Font: 12pt easy-to-read font (Times New Roman, Arial).
  • Double-spaced text, pages numbered.

What to expect

  • Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Response time: approximately 8-12 weeks.
  • Only successful submissions will be contacted; we cannot provide feedback on declined submissions.

Send all materials to submissions@wonderroompress.com. Include the subject line Submission - [Title of Manuscript]. Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to every submission. If you do not hear from us within three months, please consider your submission declined.
